I took an English course in college called "Illusion and Reality" where we read several great books the central themes of which centered on the topic of what is real and what is illusion in people's lives (The Glass Menagerie is one that I recall was in the reading list). I present these because I'm having a hard time anymore figuring out what is illusion and what reality to the lawmakers in our nation's capital. Maybe I need to read The Glass Menagerie again.
